The clock is ticking y’all. It’s just over a week to go until the big man’s birthday and if you don’t hurry up all will be left is the crappy gifts no one wants and your loved ones will know you spent all of Christmas either off your face on pate and Prosecco or tremendously hung over rather than actually buying presents for them. 1. Nars Magnificent Obsession Lip set is so bloody perfect it hurts. In fact, the whole Steven Klein collection is pretty spectacular. This contains a red lipstick, velvet matte pencil and lip liner in the most incredible packaging this season.
2. Bobbi Brown is not backwards in coming forwards when it comes to contouring. It gets a big huge no from her and for good reason; it usually leaves whoever has attempted it looking flat and grubby. She much prefers strobing instead, which is basically highlighting the skin to play on its positives, and part of the Sterling Nights Holiday Collection are these gorgeous highlighters. Apply them under foundation for a lit from within glow, or press a small amount on top of cheekbones once make up is finished. And look out for her strobing collection in the new year!
3. Basically, anything from H&Ms beauty range! If you’re lucky enough to live in Cardiff you’ll know we have the new flagship store which has opened in St Davids and along with a huge selection of clothes, it now has spectacular, if small, Homeware and Beauty departments. So far I have tried the eyeshadows, which not only have terrific colour pay off but also lasted all day, and the setting powder which does an admirable job at keeping this shiny face matte without looking chalky. The face masks (£2 each!!) are also brilliant with the pumice stone and rosemary charcoal mask being a fave!
4. Lancôme’s Hypnose Mascara is one of the best selling mascaras out there, and for Christmas comes in a set with a kohl liner and Bi-Facial cleanser for free! Shift yourselves if you’re interested as such a bargain is sure to be sold out soon!
5. Liz Earle’s Hot Polish Cleanser is a cult classic and is perfect for any skin that needs a gentle deep clean. This set comes with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic, perfect for reviving drab post Christmas skin.
6. If you know anyone suffering with problem skin, no matter their age, treat them to this Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Kit.
